To acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana one has to inquire into the nature
of the mind, which is present in the form of universe. universe is present in the form of waking experience.
How this universe came to be? What is it? What is it for? The truth will not reveal without deeper self-search. is not making various
theories about the Absolute, nor by hearing sermons of so called experts and pundits, nor by imagining things.
From practical-outlook people regard indulging in pursuit of
truth as a waste of time. They will say "world is a reality. Everybody
knows it is the world. Why waste time inquiring into it?" This attitude
belongs to the primitive mind-set who are stuck with the reality of the practical life within the practical world . Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana belongs to advanced humanity.
Science is true so far as the world of science is
concerned, yoga is true so far as one is in yogic Samadhi: the yogi's
experiences are not lies but truly described; all these are however only
relative truths, true only from physical point of view, they come and go, they
contradict each other; whereas Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana , which is ultimate knowledge.
Non-dualistic truth or Advaitic truth is un-contradictable and does not conflict with anything else. The question never enters the mind of the people;
why are there so many contradictory religions, opinions, theories, authorities,
scriptures and men? Non-dual wisdom is
not theoretical wisdom. Philosophic speculation is not non-dual truth or ultimate truth or Brahman.
Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana does not belongs to any religion,
because it inquiries into the value of religion just as it inquiries into the
value of the whole physical existence or universe. Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is so is very difficult to acquire therefore people don't want to be
bothered with it, but remain content with mysticism or religion, where the need
of deeper thinking is absent. Non-dual wisdom
comes only by transcending them all for it depends on un-contradiction.
Deeper self-search into the nature of the mind or universe
lead to self-awareness. Self-awareness leads discard the ignorance. Discarding ignorance leads to free the self
from experiencing the illusion or universe or waking as reality.
The truth has to be un-contradictable and direct, universal
appeal. One to verify before accepting
any teaching whether it leads to ultimate end, the
truth has to be direct and universal without god,
scriptures, and theories as authority o yardstick.
Seeker has to verify the
nature of the mind or universe and realize its reality is mere illusion created
out of consciousness. Concealed in the all the three states is the
Atman, the consciousness, which is the innermost self.
The one who recognizes
his identity with formless consciousness(soul) is freed from the ignorance. Once the ignorance
vanishes through wisdom then illusion will never again be reality. Same ways as
the dream reality vanishes when waking takes place the waking reality vanishes
when the wisdom dawns.
The concern that seeker should free himself from bondage by
coming to know the nature of the Self "When
a seeker knows ultimate truth or Brahman, he is free form experiencing the
illusory experience of birth, life, death and the world as reality. In
self-awareness the form, time and space are mere illusion.
