The ignorance is inborn. The ignorance is present in the form of 'I'.

The whole ignorance is due to the self is considering itself as a physical entity and perceiving the world. When the self is the formless soul, how the physical entity or ego can be the self. Therefore it is necessary to decide, whether the physical entity  or ego is the self or something other than the physical entity or ego is the self, in order to unfold the ultimate truth.

It is the Self that is in illusion and it is the self that gets free from the bondage of the illusion. The illusion is present in the form of mind. The mind is in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep. The individual experiences of birth, life, death and the world are within the waking experience.  The dream is a parallel waking experience and waking is parallel dream.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the, self is neither the waking entity nor the self is the dream entity but the self is formless soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states in succession without the physical apparatus.  This has to be mentally grasped and assimilated to realize the formless soul, the innermost   self is nothing to do with the three states. On the standpoint of the three states, the three states are mere illusion.

Therefore the the witness is not the physical  but the  witness is the one that witnesses  the  three states without the physical apparatus. Waking or dream appears, and disappears as a whole.  Thus, the individual experiences are part of the  three states cannot be real on the standpoint of the soul, which  witnesses the the three states without the physical apparatus. The three states are unreal and impermanent whereas the formless soul is real and eternal.

In order to overcome the duality, the seeking mind has to reflect steadfastly on the nature of the mind, to realize the mind is mere mirage.  Therefore, the happenings within the mirage has to be part of the mirage.  Thus, individual experiences such as birth, life and death has to be the part of the mirage. Constant reflection on the formless witness helps the seeking mind to divert its attention from the physical existence to its formless existence.

The ignorance is inborn. The ignorance is present  in the form of 'I'.  The ‘I’ is inborn samskara or conditioning, because of this inborn samskara or conditioning one has accepted the ‘I’ as ‘self, he is ignorant of the fact that, he has accepted illusion as reality.  The ‘I’ itself is an illusion.  And whatever is connected to the ‘I’ is bound to be an illusion.  The self is not an individual because it is birthless because it is formless.  The self is not limited to waking experience alone because it pervades all the three states.  Thus identifying the self without the form alone is erroneous.   The self is without the form, without the time and without the space.

Thought is nothing to do with the innermost self, which is ever formless because without the form, time and space the thought will not be formed.  The thought rises only to the waking entity or dream entity. Without the waking entity or dream entity the thoughts will not rise. Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the self is neither the waking entity nor the self is the dream entity but the self is the formless soul or consciousness, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

The three states are nothing to do with the self because they are mere illusion.
