Modern man appears to have acquired admirable knowledge in
various field of investigation into the material world. Man has to accept the
fact that, what has been acquired as scientific knowledge is but infinitesimal
or superficial nothing considering to the mystery of his true existence. Above
all, the acquired scientific knowledge and power does not quench his inner thirst,
to know the spiritual realities of his true existence.
Intellectualism merely bring
on a little personal enjoyment to the intellectuals , but their knowledge based on the form, time and space. The intellectual knowledge is nothing to do with Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana ,which is based on the formless soul the innermost self.
Self-knowledge Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana has
to be acquired in order to unfold the mystery of the mind, which is present in
the form of universe, the universe appears as waking or dream and it disappears as deep sleep.
Gaudapada quotes from the Upanishads:
"There's no plurality here"; "The Lord [Atman] through his
powers appears to be many"; "those who are attached to creation or
production or origination go to utter darkness"; "the unborn is never
reborn, for who can produce him [Atman]?”
It is only who
base on ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ as self, argue and quarrel amongst themselves. The people
who are fully aware of the fact that, the form, time and space are one in essence and that essence is consciousness have
no reason to quarrel, because for them everything is consciousness and no
second thing exist other than consciousness.
One (soul) becomes many and many(Mind) becomes one. the many(universe) is mere illusion and only the one exists as consciousness or ultimate truth or Brahman. Thus this illusory game of becoming dual and non dual will remain as reality until one gains the perfection as a perfect Seer.
The look of an object(three states) will depend in the medium through which the observer views it. in fact, one's mental and intellectual condition will determine the phenomenal world observed experienced . A Gnani viewing the three states will see it differently from ignorant viewing the same three states. A Gnani views the three states on the base of the soul, the innermost self and realizes three states are one in essence, therefore he is only aware of the essence whereas the ignorant views the three states on base of the ego(waking) entity and thinks his existence and the existence of the world as reality. each interprets the that them interprets the object (three states) they see in term of his existing knowledge based. A Gnani sees consciousness and its play everywhere because he is fully aware seer and seen are one in essence whereas the ignorant sees his body as body, ego as ego and the world as world.
The waking experience is but the illusory an expressive
imprint of the journey of the Soul or consciousness in its search for the knowledge of
itself. The truth manifests in stages according to the receptivity of the
aspirant. On the mental plane it manifests as self, which only the realized
mind (Gnani) could observe it. On the physical plane it is as an Gnani or perfect man of knowledge. His very presence among men awakens then to the
awareness of what they should and may become.
The Self knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana comes acquired
through soul-centric reasoning, not by intuition, love and inspiration. It is
the soul-centicity makes one transcend the dominion of egocentric intellect and
gain the state of complete annihilation of the false self (waking entity) and false experience (waking), and it is the state that ends in the union with the true
self, which is soul or Atman or spirit or consciousness.
Soul-centric reasoning makes one remember the eternal true
identity and making him feel less bound, in his onward march, by the trammels
of physical limitation, till he reaches where he can rise himself to the realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman.
When the self makes itself free from all the manifoldness of the experience of
diversity, it is able to view and the judge the illusory experience of duality
on the base of the its formless non-dual true nature. Then only it is possible
to realize there is no second thing other then the Atman or consciousness in
the whole experience of diversity. Thus one can conclude that, the whole waking
experience is only a mental state, which disappears and reappears.
The first begin with gnosis and ends with the complete passing away of total annihilation of the mind(I) . Mind is present as universe universe appeaser waking or dream.
The second begins
with at the moment of the annihilation mind(I)
succeeded by abiding or the union of the mind [I] with its non-dual substance, which
is the consciousness . The union with substance leads to Non-dual or Advaitic Self-awareness.
The aspirant who gets the self knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana becomes emblem of perfection and able to view and judge the whole experience of diversity [I] from the standpoint of the soul or consciousness, the innermost self , and realizes the fact that there is no second thing other then the consciousness, in all the three states. The dual(waking or dream) and non-dual(deep sleep) experiences is mere mirage created out of single substance, which is consciousness. thus the three states are myth, when they are viewed and judged on the base of the soul, the innermost self.
The third journey
begins from base of the soul, the innermost self and ends with the
state of the perfect non-dualhood. He who comes to the final journey becomes consciously aware of
the center or source of the mind or universe, form where it rises and subsides . Thus
he becomes free from the experiencing the illusion as reality.
The aspirant while
undergoing all these stages in the pursuit of truth has to pass through various
level of understanding and cross all the fatter and obstacles to reach his non-dual destination.
