Some find the pursuit of truth is difficult because they have
not acquired the necessary competence for it. Without rectifying the reasoning base
from ego (form) base to soul (formless base) base, it is not possible to
acquire self-knowledge. Therefore, it is
necessary to rectify the reasoning base mentally by realizing the fact that that
‘I’ is not the self.
By reflecting constantly on the formless witness of the three
states, the seeker can become aware of the fact that the three states are unreal,
the formless substance, and the witness of the three states, which is the soul or consciousness or spirit,
is real.
The waking and dream disappears and when it is without the waking and dream,
the witness will remain in its formless non-dual true nature, which is
identified as deep sleep on the physical base or ego. Thus, the ego is the cause of the ignorance. Till one views, judges and concludes the worldview on the base of ego he will not be
able to assimilate the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana .
The Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is –Self-Release. Due to ignorance caused by
the ego, one imagines self is bound, and makes various and strenuous attempt to
become free, whereas the soul/self is ever free.
The nondual true nature of the self can be regained only through
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana can
be gained, only when one realizes the fact that, the three states, which appear
and disappear, are unreal and the formless substance and witness of the three states,
which is the soul or consciousness or spirit, is real and eternal.
