Soul is the innermost self. Soul belongs to no religion. Religion is based on birth entity whereas the innermost self is birthless because it is formless.  Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cuts the roots of these beliefs and belief system.

 

Soul is simply consciousness, not the birth entity or waking entity. “Soul is not an individual because it pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states.  Soul is not a sanyasi, or a householder, or guru – soul is not in an entity or identity or thing within the three states.  Soul is the witness of the three states which comes and goes in succession. 

The religionists cannot claim the self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana as theirs, the self-knowledge or brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is everyone's. A Gnani is not a Hindu, not a Christian, not a Muslim." Self –Knowledge is a direct realization of ultimate truth or Brahman.
