The seeker of truth has to drop all the inferior knowledge based on the attributes and go beyond Vedas to understand assimilate and realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Idea of God as a creator holds good theoretically .This idea of God is introduced by the organized religion and rulers in the past, to keep the mass in their control by conditioning the mass mind-set, to be, to believe, to behave and live in the society by strictly following its ethics and code of conduct.  But this idea of god becomes a biggest obstacle in pursuit of truth, because one is unable to cross the threshold of duality, which he experiences it as reality.

When duality accepted as reality then the birth, life, death and the world will prevail as reality. Thus, the false self-[ego]  prevails as true self , and thinks whatever it has seen, known ,believed and experienced as a person as reality.

When the waking entity  becomes aware of its formless substance, and able to view and judge on the base of its formless substance, then there is neither the world, nor the perceiver of the world, nor the belief of god, exits as reality.

The whole illusion, in which man perceives the world,   is created and sustained by consciousness. Therefore, the diversity within the consciousness is mere illusion. There is no second thing other than the consciousness, hence it is non-dual. On the standpoint of the consciousness [soul] nothing exists, nothing ever existed; nothing will ever exit other then consciousness.

The seeker of truth has to drop all the inferior knowledge based on the attributes and go beyond Vedas to understand assimilate and realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

One has to go beyond Vedas means go beyond religion. Go beyond religion means, go beyond concept of god.  Thus, going beyond Veda, religion and conceptual god means going beyond illusion.   That is end of Vedas [ Veda –antha]

When one goes into the annals of the history it looks like the true Advaita expounded by Sri Sankara and his param guru, Goudpada,  the orthodox  preaching and practice does not match with the Advaitic or non-dualistic essence.   Orthodoxy is nothing to do with ultimate truth or brahman. Orthodoxy is based on the form.  Orthodoxy  believes in birth ,life, death and world whereas the ultimate truth is based on the soul ,the innermost self. The soul is birth-less because it is formless.  If the self is formless than the birth, life, death and the world is bound to be illusion because the experience of birth, life, death and the world are based on the form.
Self-knowledge or Atma Gnana or Brahma Gnana cannot be attained by one who is without strength or earnestness or without the receptiveness and courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth. If a serious seeker strives sincerely by means of inquiry, analysis and soul- centric reasoning, he will be able to realize it.
It is your sincerity and earnestness in your spiritual pursuit, the knowledge started revealing on its own.  Anyone who has humility and patience and is sincere and ready to drop their accumulated dross and receptive to accept the truth will enter non-dual Self-Awareness when the conviction becomes firm.
The Upanishads affirm the eternal, divine nature of the Atman-Self and Atman is Brahman. This perspective is essential to perfect understanding assimilation of ultimate truth.

Orthodox propagate the idea of both the personal and impersonal aspects of Gods are based on imagination on the base of the false self (waking entity or ego), within the false experience (waking). Since the whole universe and its contents are created out of single stuff and the whole universe is mere illusion created out of that single stuff, which is consciousness, than where is the scope for any second thing to exist.  Thus the soul, which is present as consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman. Therefore, other than consciousness all else is mere illusion. There no God other than consciousness.

Seekers main aim is to investigate both dual and non-dual experiences to find and define the underlying truth in everything, thereby realizing what the ultimate truth is.  Because of so many beliefs propagated by belief system, people think seekers of truth are   atheists because they do not accept the belief blindly. Seekers of truth believe the religionists and atheists both are believers because religionists believe in the belief of god and atheists believe in belief of no god.

It is necessary for the seeker to do his homework, and verify the validity of all the claims, rather than blindly believe, what others expound as knowledge, till, the un-contradicted truth is obtained.

The seeker must have the courage of Buddha to accept the truth and reject the untruth. Since Buddha rejected religion, idea of god and scriptures, therefore, it is evident that, he has gone through every aspect and verified and found them to be inadequate and useless for the pursuit of truth.

Even Buddhism is mixed up with regional culture and traditions of the local religion, wherever it existed. Thus to get the full essence from Buddhism is very difficult.

The scriptures are for ignorant masses, who wholly accept the material world as it presents itself. Wisdom is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

Each sect concocts a God to suit its own purposes.  Such concocted Gods have no value in pursuit of truth.  Man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion.
