The true existence is consciousness without the form, time and space. Therefore the self is nothing other than the consciousness. However, this consciousness is not the flux of states, a stream of consciousness.

A permanent view of world as unreal can come only after soul centric reasoning; such knowledge cannot change. Were the seeker who is sufficiently sharpness he could grasp the unreal nature of the world by soul-centric reasoning alone.  To know whole truth, one must know the whole universe, otherwise he gets only half-truth. 

 The Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the destroyer of ignorance. Soul or consciousness  is the innermost self . The true self is the real guru.  Soul or consciousness  is the all-pervading in everything and everywhere in all  the three states,   and the cause of the dual and non-dual experiences.

Soul-centric reasoning  is the only means of attaining to direct Self-Realization for the acquisition of final liberation  from experiencing the duality as reality. Only serious seekers of truth should constantly reflect upon the true self in order to understand and assimilate and realize the knowledge of the innermost  self.

 The preliminary qualifications or the means to the attainment of knowledge of the true self is the intense urge and courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth.  The non-dual truth cannot be got through religious austerities and studying the scriptures and god  and guru glorification   and yoga.  

The indifference with which one treats the his own excreta– such an indifference to all  the three states from the realm of the soul   to  the three states in view of their perishable nature, is verily called pure dispassion.

The soul is  the formless  witness of the three states  in itself is alone permanent, the witnessed(three states)  is opposed to it i.e., transient – such a settled conviction is truly known as discrimination.

Turning the focus of attention away completely from all the three states and learn to  view and judge the worldview on the standpoint of the formless soul , the innermost  self will help one to establish in the  realm of truth.  This is possible only when the mind is receptive and one constantly reflects on the formless substance and the witness of the three states with patient endurance.

People believe that teacher or mystic or priest has got so many followers and therefore there must be some truth in their teaching, is a common fallacy accepted by the mass due to their inherited conditioning. It proves only an ignorant can find a number of greater ignorant to follow him.

People superimpose their own imaginations on things. Hence an ignorant sees spirit  in trees, rocks and well and feel the soul(consciousness) is apart from their own self, which  is  the cause of the ignorance .
