The seeker has to
realize the fact that, the right path to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana
or Atma Gnana is the inner (mental) path.
The path of love and
compassion is meant for practical life within the practical world. One need not
renounce the practical life in order to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana
or Atma Gnana. There is no need to renounce the worldly life in order to get
self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, by being in practical world as
householder by following the path of love and compassion and being in the world
not of this world in his pursuit of truth.
Pursuit of truth is nothing to do
with the egocentric paths therefore discussing of egocentric paths is of no
use. Path of truth is path is soul-centric path. No one can become Buddha
physically but he becomes one with Buddha’s nature (formless soul)
mentally.
Individual must find
the truth on his own way and should verify everything, even his own accumulated
knowledge, from inherited religion. The path of truth is path of rationality
there is no place for blind faith and dogmas.
The approach of
rational self-inquiry is more scientific and it also enables aspirant of truth
to acquire self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Meher Baba said: - give no importance to creed,
dogma, caste or the performance of religious ceremonies and rites.
The only Real Existence is that of the One and only God Who is the Self in every (finite) self.
The only Real Love is the Love for this Infinity (God), which arouses an
intense longing to see, know and become one with its Truth (God).
The only Real Sacrifice is that in which, in pursuance of this Love, all
things—body, mind, position, welfare and even life itself—are sacrificed.
The only Real Renunciation is that which abandons, even in the midst of worldly
duties, all selfish thoughts and desires.
The only Real Knowledge is the Knowledge that God is the inner dweller in good
people and in so-called bad, in saint and in so-called sinner. This Knowledge
requires you to help all equally as circumstances demand without expectation of
reward, and when compelled to take part in a dispute, to act without the
slightest trace of enmity or hatred; to try to make.
The real love is the love for the innermost self. Thus ‘Love Thyself'.
The self cannot be
experienced, because the experience is possible only in the realm of
duality. There is neither experience
nor experincer in reality. In
self-awareness the body, ego and the world are not considered different from
consciousness.
