It is time that humanity had a fresh vision of truth that the mind, which is in the form of the universe, is a myth and consciousness is the only thing that is real and that matters

Some of the impediments are: intense attachment to practical life within the practical world taking them as reality; lack of subtlety of the intellect, indulging in perverse arguments based on their accumulated second-hand unverified knowledge and scriptural mastery which makes them more and more egoic.  Belief in Orthodoxy believes in a personal god, karma theory, rebirth, heaven, hell and sin are the greatest obstacle in the pursuit of truth because they are based on the false self-(waking entity) within the false experience (waking).

People are making unlimited sacrifices and enduring unlimited suffering in the name of protecting their religion and god. They are therefore ignorant about the truth and incapable of understanding the ultimate truth, which is a universal God. All organized religions unequivocally claimed man for the life in the truth; thus it is sheer folly to fight in the name of religion and god. 

Many intellectuals have a tremendous intellect; most will agree with their theories based on the ego, which is false self within the false experience. It does mean possesses Self –Knowledge or non-dualistic Gnana? And knowledge based on the false self within the false experience is limited to false experience (waking) therefore it is certainly not self-knowledge.

Gnana is usually translated as "knowledge" but that is because there is no equivalent word in English. It is more accurately "content less consciousness" or “self-awareness”.

Pundits who take the scriptures for granted are not Gnanis. Pundits teach that all is your-self, but none of them can show that this is so, none has analyzed it scientifically, and none can prove it. Rational proof is needed, so that one arrive at knowing truth i.e. wisdom; punditry is mere dogma, parrotism, a repetition of what they read in scripture. The scriptures are not yardstick and scriptural truth is not proof.   Pundits take scripture as authority.   Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved.

Pundits have to test truth in this world not in the next world.  There is no proof other than blind belief based on the scriptures, belief is not truth.  So, doctrines are not the means to realize the ultimate truth. There is no need to follow them.
