There is no accomplishment equal to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana which is alone capable
of ending all illusory misery as reality. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana differs from all accomplishments in that the fear of death is destroyed once
for all.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana lead one to non-dual self awareness. In self- awareness the experience of birth, life, death and the world are mere illusion created out of consciousness. In self-awareness there is no division is consciousness therefore there is only oneness. In self-awareness there is unity in diversity.

Realization differs according to the antecedent practice and, commensurate
with the degree of spiritual maturity of mind, may be perfect, middling or
dull.
He, who, though engaged in
worldly life, does not
look upon anything as non-self, that is
in the midst of worldly life, he is fully aware of the fact that, his
body and
the world are created out of formless consciousness , thus everything
is consciousness and nothing exists other then consciousness is a
perfect Gnani.
He who even while doing his work remains as in a sleep is a perfect Gnani.
Thus the best among the Gnani‘s are never out of natural state, be they working
or idle.
He, who is from his own experience capable of
appreciating the states of other Gnanis including the best among them, is
certainly a perfect sage. He, who is not influenced by happiness or misery, by
pleasure or pain, by desires, doubts or fear, is a perfect sage.
He, who realizes
pleasure, pain and every other phenomenon to be in and of the Self, is a
perfect sage. He who feels himself pervading all - be they ignorant or
emancipated - is a perfect sage. He who knowing the trammels of bondage, does
not seek release from them and remains in peace, is a perfect sage.
The perfect among the Gnani is identical with consciousness . There is absolutely no difference between them.
